About the opportunity
- We are looking for AIVoice Recording Contributors to join a Spanish (Puerto Rico) voice evaluation project and help support the development of the next generation of AI technologies.
This freelance, work-from-home opportunity offers a flexible schedule with approximately 4–6 hours of task-based work per day over a project duration of approximately 1 month, with an immediate start date.
- Your role involves reading provided text prompts aloud using our internal platform to capture natural speech from native speakers, helping AI systems better understand diverse languages, dialects, and accents.
Recordings will be used to evaluate how agents respond to spoken instructions compared to text-based instructions, and may be incorporated into datasets for research, development, testing, and improvement of AI systems.
Key responsibilities
- Read provided text cards aloud and record them exactly as written, with approximately 640 cards per person.
- Produce clear, natural, and high-quality speech recordings following the guidelines and instructions provided.
- Speak using your natural dialect and accent without imitating dialects or accents that are not your own.
- Ensure no words are added, omitted, or altered during the recording process.
- Re-record submissions if requested to meet quality standards.
- Complete tasks using our internal recording platform.
Qualifications
- Native-level fluency in Spanish (Puerto Rico).
- Authentic pronunciation and strong familiarity with the target dialect or accent through everyday use.
- Advanced level of English to understand written instructions.
- Ability to complete a trial voice recording to verify language variant and accent.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain recording accuracy.
- Quiet room or recording space with minimal background noise, a computer microphone or headset with microphone, reliable internet connection, and the ability to access and use an online recording platform.
