About the opportunity
The Client Service Project Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and executing LIMS, operations, quality, and client service projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
This role supports organizational goals by leading LIMS improvements, implementing new capabilities, managing client data transfers, and supporting various environmental monitoring systems.
Additionally, the position plays a key role in acquisition integrations and business development activities.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor project progress and deliver status reports, timelines, issues, risks, and action items to stakeholders and team members.
- Develop, maintain, and participate in project plans for lab implementation of LIMS systems and projects enhancing LIMS functionality.
- Assist in acquisition activities and lead LIMS integration projects to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Understand all applicable aspects of the project, including rationale, regulations, and methods employed by the client and laboratory.
- Coordinate the implementation of quality software platforms across all food laboratories and manage software enhancements.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements within the Laboratory Information Management System.
- Trend, track, and report operational KPIs, quality parameters, errors, and project progress to upper management.
- Mentor and train employees on LIMS functions, assessing training needs and competencies across the business.
Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a closely related field.
- 7 to 10 years in a supervisory or project management role within a laboratory or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
