We are seeking a Spring 2027 Email & SMS Marketing Intern to join our team in a remote capacity. This hands-on internship requires current enrollment in a college course to receive college credit, with a desired time commitment of 15-20 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Understand lifecycle marketing best practices, strategies, and processes
- Learn how to execute email & SMS campaigns within multiple different lifecycle platforms
- Create email & SMS campaign calendars for a variety of clients
- Write custom email & SMS copy to speak to different groups of contacts
- Segment campaign audiences based on past customer behavior and demographic data
- Build out targeted customer journeys based on previous site activity and purchase data
- Analyze email & SMS performance and report on findings while providing strategic recommendations for the future
- Optimize the lifecycle user experience based on learnings from performance data and A/B testing results
- Assist the lifecycle team with ad hoc projects including reporting, execution, and copywriting
Qualifications
- Strong interest in a career that blends creativity and analytics
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding editing and proofreading skills
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks
- Detail oriented with a passion for storytelling
- Must be enrolled in a course at a college or university and receiving credit for their participation in this internship program
