About the opportunity: Clutch is looking for an FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team and help drive the financial planning, reporting, and analysis that support the company's growth and profitability goals.
You will own key financial models and reporting processes that connect operational data across the business to our revenue, spend, and performance targets, translating operational metrics into financial insight for leadership.
This role reports to the head of FP&A and sits at the center of Finance to help leadership make smarter, faster decisions about where to invest.
Key responsibilities
- Learn our company structure, systems, and monthly close/forecast calendar within the first 3 months.
- Build core reporting, including monthly variance analysis, KPI dashboards, and budget-versus-actual reviews.
- Independently own a forecast cycle end-to-end, including headcount and departmental spend within 6 months.
- Serve as a primary finance point of contact for business leaders, handling ad hoc requests and flagging risks or opportunities.
- Deliver your first full board or business review package section and act as a trusted advisor to business leadership.
- Lead cross-functional analyses from scratch, such as new initiative economics, ROI deep-dives, or process redesign impacts.
- Implement process improvements that reduce manual effort and improve forecast accuracy while supporting pricing, unit economics, and new market cases.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, or a related analytical field, ideally at a SaaS or subscription-based company.
- Strong grasp of SaaS and business performance metrics and how they connect to overall company performance.
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets modeling skills.
- Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems and comfort pulling and validating operational data.
- Excellent communication skills to translate financial analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for non-finance stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
