We are seeking a Global Technical Talent Lead to own hiring across Engineering, Product, Design, Research, and Growth worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Turn engineering priorities into a deliverable global hiring plan by partnering with functional leaders to translate product roadmaps, research priorities, and workforce plans into actionable hiring strategies.
- Build and lead a cohesive global recruiting organization by coaching Talent leaders, establishing accountability, and allocating resources across disciplines and markets.
- Define and uphold the hiring bar across technical disciplines by partnering with functional leaders to define excellence, establish success profiles, and ensure consistent hiring decisions.
- Make hiring performance visible and predictable by establishing regular reviews with functional and senior leadership to track delivery, surface risks, and resolve decisions using market intelligence and funnel data.
- Personally unblock difficult searches, help close exceptional candidates, and leverage Talent Ops systems, tools, processes, and AI to improve hiring speed and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading Talent through hypergrowth at a company that grew 3x or more in two years, owning the delivery of hundreds to thousands of hires annually across multiple regions and time zones.
- Demonstrated track record of managing teams of Talent leaders and delivering business-critical hiring across engineering, research, growth, design, and product disciplines.
- Ability to earn the trust of senior engineering, growth, product, design, and research leaders, advising on talent availability, location, role scope, and assessment.
- Expertise in translating changing business and technical priorities into credible hiring forecasts and recruiting capacity plans using pipeline, conversion, hiring lead times, and interviewer capacity.
- Strong combination of people leadership and deep recruiting expertise, with a history of raising team performance through coaching and maintaining a high hiring bar at scale.
