We are looking for a Head of Strategic Finance to lead our planning function, own corporate-level forecasting and budgeting, and serve as a trusted partner to the leadership team.
Reporting directly to the President & CFO, this role will own high-impact board and investor materials in partnership with the executive team and collaborate closely with the Head of GTM - Strategic Finance.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the Strategic Finance function and support the leadership team with strategic recommendations backed by quantitative analysis and qualitative takeaways.
- Manage key financial processes including annual budgeting, forecasting, monthly performance analysis, headcount planning, and product forecasting, designing bottoms-up annual budgeting.
- Own the consolidated operating model and long-range plan.
- Understand and evangelize unit economics across all products and geographies, spanning both FIAT and crypto across currencies, rails, and chains.
- Synthesize company and financial performance into monthly packages for the Leadership team and Board of Directors.
- Establish and run a budget-vs-actuals (BvA) cadence with leadership and build segment reporting for clear performance visibility.
- Partner with the Data team to provide actionable insights and transform Jeeves into a data-driven organization.
- Manage internal financial systems and tooling roadmaps for finance infrastructure.
- Partner directly with Finance, Capital Markets, Financial Operations, and Risk to incorporate the credit book into the plan for capital efficiency.
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years in banking or credit investing, followed by 4 to 8 years in operating roles at fast-paced, high-velocity global fintechs; operating experience is essential.
- Background in a balance-sheet business such as lending, cards, or payments with facilities; pure SaaS Strategic Finance experience is not a fit.
- AI-Native experience building agentic automation and workflows with Claude or other models to streamline financial analysis, modeling, and reporting.
- Fluent in crypto and stablecoins, or able to get up to speed quickly.
- Personally built and run at least one full budget and planning cycle.
- Strong track record of developing and mentoring a team of professionals into a high-performance unit.
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, hyper-growth environment and act as a player-coach who owns processes end-to-end.
- Comfortable presenting to a board of directors or institutional investors.
