About the opportunity
Dandy is transforming the $400B dental industry by building the operating system for dental offices through technology, innovation, and support.
We are looking for a Trainer to perform training and upskilling sessions, utilizing technical skills to update curriculum and ensure successful onboarding of new hires and new skills.
You will work closely with shift leaders and training teams to align advanced and introductory training with the needs of a growing business. This role provides ongoing support for weekend shifts for all Provo staff.
Key responsibilities
- Create, streamline, and maintain technical training programs from onboarding new hires through to upskilling.
- Work closely with the Instructional Design team to ensure all job aids and e-Content are up to date and add value to learners and trainers.
- Collaborate with operations managers, quality teams, training, and other stakeholders to ensure operational needs are met.
- Think outside the box to meet the needs of constant operational growth.
- Support the mentor program to ensure success in role upon completion of training efforts for both new and upskilled technicians.
- Ensure ongoing support for weekend shifts for all Provo staff.
Qualifications
- Exceptional time and project management skills.
- Knowledge of adult learning theory.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into simple, actionable information.
- Agility to pivot quickly without hesitation.
Nice to have
- CAD/CAM experience.
- Outstanding professional references to share.
- Experience in a fast-paced hyper-growth startup environment.
- Experience working with various SMEs to create and edit highly technical topics.
- Relentlessly positive attitude, strong sense of humor, and the ability to have fun at work.
