We are looking for a Marketing Science Manager to serve as the analytical backbone of our marketing content engine.
In this role, you will translate data into insights, narratives, and proof points that fuel campaign creative, thought leadership, sales enablement, and executive storytelling.
Key responsibilities
- Pull, clean, and analyze data from internal and external sources, including Samba TV and web data, to surface insights that shape marketing content.
- Translate complex data findings into clear narratives, charts, and talking points for blog posts, reports, social posts, infographics, sales decks, and PR pitches.
- Identify trends, benchmarks, and proprietary data stories that position the company as a category authority.
- Serve as a dedicated data partner to content marketing by providing a steady pipeline of insight-driven topics, supporting statistics, and original research angles.
- Lead original research initiatives, from designing surveys and structuring datasets to interpreting results and shaping the final story.
- Fact-check, source, and validate data referenced in marketing content to protect brand credibility.
- Collaborate with measurement science, product, sales, customer success, and data engineering teams to tell stories that resonate across the funnel.
- Partner with growth and demand gen teams on audience segmentation, A/B testing, and attribution to sharpen targeting and messaging.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing science, insights, business intelligence, or a closely related discipline, including time supporting content, brand, or demand gen teams.
- Strong SQL skills and fluency with at least one analytics or BI tool such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Mode, or Hex.
- Comfort working in spreadsheets at a power-user level, with exposure to Python or R for deeper analysis.
- Hands-on experience with the modern marketing data stack, including CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot, marketing automation, web analytics like GA4 or Adobe Analytics, and customer data platforms.
- Demonstrated track record of turning data into narratives with examples where your insights drove the story.
- Strong written and visual communication skills with the ability to create impactful charts and data displays.
- Project management skills to juggle multiple stakeholders, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Intellectual curiosity, skepticism of your own numbers, and a bias toward action.
Nice to have
- Experience designing and fielding original research studies or industry surveys.
- Familiarity with marketing mix modeling, multi-touch attribution, or incrementality testing.
- B2B SaaS, media, or consumer tech background.
- A portfolio or examples of published, data-driven content.
