About the opportunity
Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Massage Therapist. Reporting to the Director, Wellness, Retail, & Club 1927, you will provide exceptional wellness services in the heart of Wine Country.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a variety of professional massage treatments including Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Aromatherapy.
- Conduct consultations to assess individual needs, preferences, and health considerations.
- Ensure guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and relaxed throughout the spa experience.
- Perform treatments safely and effectively according to Fairmont policies, protocols, and standards.
- Prepare, maintain, and sanitize treatment rooms, equipment, and linens before and after each service.
- Recommend appropriate spa services and retail products to enhance guest wellness.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate guest preferences when appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with spa therapists, attendants, and reception to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions, team meetings, and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Valid Massage Therapy License in accordance with state regulations.
- Certification in recognized massage modalities such as Swedish and Deep Tissue.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive movements, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in a luxury spa, resort, or hotel environment.

- Hourly rate: $20.50
- Work authorization: Applicants must provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
