Onsite at our Scottsdale, Arizona office 4-5 days a week, and on the road 20% of time

Strategic Sourcing

none, must lead functional peer organizations via influence
Proactively communicate with the design engineering teams prior to and during the NPI development process to understand their current & future needs for new product components; influencing by leveraging industry experience.
Work with the Mechanical Category managers on sourcing decisions that are aligned with their strategies. Provide the tools, methodologies, techniques, and technical insight to drive intelligent sourcing of mechanical products.
Seek cross-functional team agreement on discrepancies.
Establish strong relationships with manufacturers and their associated representatives to understand product roadmaps and availability to support future product development.
