About the opportunity
Working From_ Fulton Market is seeking a dedicated professional to manage member engagement, operations, communications, and programming at our Chicago location in the vibrant Fulton Market district.
Since 2006, The Hoxton has created inspiring spaces for laptop-savvy workers, and our coworking environments offer everything professionals need to hustle and succeed.
You will welcome new members, coordinate move-ins and move-outs, build strong day-to-day relationships, and ensure the space operates seamlessly.
Responsibilities also include managing member portals, executing community events, and maintaining accurate records while delivering thoughtful, heartfelt service.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome new members with thorough inductions and coordinate all desk or office moves, swaps, and departures.
- Handle member enquiries, monitor engagement patterns, and conduct regular floor walks to maintain high operational standards and support retention.
- Complete daily opening and closing checks, manage the Surprise & Delight budget, and oversee accurate membership records and SOP compliance.
- Manage member portal content, communications, the annual satisfaction survey, and host stand coverage as needed.
- Partner with the Brand Team and General Manager to build brand partnerships and execute an engaging community events calendar from setup to breakdown.
- Create and print signage for space activations and collaborate on the monthly member newsletter.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in coworking, hospitality, events, or a related industry.
- Strong administrative, processing, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to work independently.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, workplace systems, and booking platforms.
- Motivated, driven, and eager to take ownership of new challenges and make a real difference.
- Patient, level-headed, cool under pressure, and genuinely passionate about helping people.
- Adaptable problem-solver who thinks quickly on their feet and learns new things rapidly.
- Clear and professional communication skills across in-person, written, and phone interactions.
- Experience in payment collection combined with a warm, outgoing, sociable, and humble approach.
