About the opportunity
Power Digital is seeking a Paid Social Intern for the Spring 2027 term. This is a remote opportunity requiring 15-20 hours per week, compensated via college credit. Applicants must be current college students enrolled in an internship course for college credit.
Desired fields of study include Marketing, Advertising, Social Media, IMC, Graphic Design, or Journalism and Media Studies. Interns will learn about paid social media advertising from the ground up, including ad buying, copywriting, and client communication.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in creating and managing paid social media campaigns across Meta, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in paid social strategies.
- Assist with copywriting for paid advertising campaigns to ensure engagement and brand alignment.
- Help build and structure paid advertising campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
- Support reporting and analyzing campaign performance data to inform strategic recommendations.
- Stay current on social media and digital marketing trends to suggest innovative ideas for brand performance.
- Participate in paid social-specific training opportunities to deepen advertising expertise.
- Participate in coffee chats with department leaders and cross-channel learning opportunities.
Qualifications
- Must be a current college student enrolling in an internship course for college credit.
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and tinker with accounts.
- Comfortable facing challenges and asking questions.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on design and creative.
- Team player with a passion for the digital marketing sphere.
