About the opportunity
Dandy is transforming the $400B+ dental industry by building the operating system for dental offices through technology, innovation, and world-class support.
We are hiring a Senior Accountant to own core parts of our month-end and year-end close.
You will report to the Assistant Controller and join a focused team supporting two US manufacturing labs, international entities, and growing transaction volume.
We are looking for a self-starter with an operational mindset who can navigate complex accounting transactions, solve new accounting scenarios, and collaborate with upstream teams to ensure data accuracy.
Key responsibilities
- Own prepaid, accrued expense, and opex schedules including professional fees, software, and contractor spend.
- Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual closes with clear support for estimates, allocations, and accruals.
- Book intercompany entries, support consolidation across US and international entities, and work with Tax on quarterly transfer pricing entries.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve differences prior to close.
- Prepare flux analysis and explain monthly results to the Assistant Controller and FP&A.
- Trace coding errors back to source systems such as payroll, purchasing, and billing, and collaborate with system owners to fix upstream issues.
- Document processes, accounting policies, and controls to support our annual audit and respond to auditor requests.
- Automate manual close steps in NetSuite and related systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years as a Senior Accountant, or 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience in an operational business such as manufacturing, distribution, healthcare services, logistics, or multi-site operations.
- Strong grasp of US GAAP, accruals, reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets.
- Track record of fixing root causes in upstream processes.
- Clear, concise communication skills for both accountants and non-accountants.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through on tight deadlines.

- Inventory, cost, or manufacturing accounting experience.
- Multi-entity and multi-currency accounting experience.
- NetSuite experience.
- Public accounting or audit experience.
- CPA or CPA candidate.
