About the opportunity
- MSQ DX is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our growing team, requiring strong relationship management, requirements gathering, and leadership to drive projects to completion.
- You will juggle multiple concurrent client engagements, demonstrating strong prioritization, technical acumen including feature demos, and comfort using AI tools across the BA lifecycle.
- Prior experience in a digital agency setting, particularly with MarTech focus, is essential.
Key responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate business needs and customer requirements via workshops, surveys, workflows, and use cases.
- Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements, process models, and user stories comprehensible to developers and stakeholders.
- Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, prioritizing and communicating changes effectively.
- Establish trusted relationships with client stakeholders and internal team members while managing 3 or more concurrent projects.
- Leverage AI tools throughout the requirements lifecycle to synthesize discovery notes, draft BRDs, and generate user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Enhance MSQ DX's requirements-gathering methods, assist in developing standard templates, and provide guidance to junior staff.
- Pilot and champion new AI-powered workflows and tools for the BA team, sharing prompts and lessons learned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of web project lifecycle experience from discovery to implementation, ideally within a MarTech digital agency setting.
- 2 – 5 years of previous product management and/or project management experience.
- 5+ years of experience with CMSs such as Contentstack, Contentful, Optimizely, Sitecore, WordPress Atlas, or Uniform.
- Understanding of web page structure and WCAG 2.1/2.2 accessibility requirements.
- Experience with Quality Assurance, testing, and working within Agile or Waterfall environments.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university, with a preferred concentration in Business or Management Information Systems.
- Proficiency in Office 365, diagramming tools like Visio or Miro, Jira or Azure DevOps, and AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot.
