About the opportunity
- Clutch is seeking a strategic HR Business Partner to build systems, judgment, and culture to sustain growth and innovation. This role requires designing frameworks from the ground up rather than running from an existing playbook, while leveraging AI to unlock HRBP leverage.
- You will partner directly with leadership to reinforce a high-performance culture, navigate ambiguity, shape internal communications, and handle sensitive, high-stakes people situations with sound judgment and composure.
- Joining the People Experience team as the second HRBP, you will collaborate closely with the HRBP Lead and HR Operations to support Clutchies across the US and LatAm in a world-class work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with leaders to understand decision-making processes, culture norms, and performance accountability systems within the first month.
- Design and execute internal communications strategies and initial improvements for high-performance culture standards within three months.
- Own systems that foster leadership judgment, operationalize accountability, and deepen organizational health touchpoints through high-growth periods within six months.
- Coach and advise people managers through ambiguous, high-stakes situations and sensitive employee relations matters with independent judgment.
- Translate business priorities and financials into effective HR considerations that resonate with senior stakeholders.
- Utilize AI tools to drive efficiency in your own work and empower leaders and the broader company.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner in fast-paced, high-growth environments, preferably in SaaS and/or Fintech.
- Proven track record of designing and launching HR programs and systems from the ground up.
- Strong business acumen with fluency in organizational priorities and financials.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate sensitive, high-stakes employee situations with independent judgment and sound escalation instincts.
- Exceptional communication skills tailored for audiences ranging from frontline managers to senior leadership.
- Comfort operating in high-ambiguity environments where systems are actively being built.
- Fluency in using AI to enhance productivity and impact.
