- Clutch is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Operations to lead the Revenue Operations (RevOps) team and act as an operating partner to senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Implementation, People, and Finance.
- In this role, you will own the shared language of the business, including definitions, data, and processes, and handle critical unowned areas such as partnership strategies, commercial models, and pricing and margin guidance.
- You will operate in a fast-paced startup environment with significant visibility and impact, establishing processes and tools from the ground up to support rapid company growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and set priorities for a high-ownership RevOps team, fostering autonomy and strategic scope while building automation, tooling, and processes.
- Build client-level margin and cost-to-serve analyses within the first 3 months to ground the company pricing strategy and revenue leadership approach.
- Stand up a deal desk within 6 months, featuring approval workflows, pricing and discount guardrails, and standard commercial terms.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing leaders during monthly business reviews to pressure-test plans, identify risks, and implement new tooling or automation.
- Launch and scale AI-enabled workflows and self-serve tooling that eliminate manual reporting, reconciliation, and repetitive commercial tasks with measurable time savings.
- Act as a trusted partner to executive leadership, stepping in to solve complex, unowned cross-functional challenges.
- Leverage AI daily in your own workflow while identifying manual processes across commercial teams ready for automation.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of total experience combining consulting or banking with operational experience inside a company.
- Demonstrated experience managing people, coaching individual contributors, delivering direct feedback, making talent decisions, and building team rhythms.
- Proven startup experience working in fast-moving, rapidly changing environments where you built structure from ambiguity.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including forecasting, with the ability to build models from scratch in spreadsheets and utilize AI effectively.
- Data-first and self-sufficient approach, comfortable working directly with raw datasets and validating AI outputs.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to read commercial terms, evaluate pricing, discounting, and margin, and structure deals.
- Clear communication skills capable of guiding executives through complex problems and collaborating effectively with individual contributors across technical and non-technical roles.
- Comfort with ambiguity, relentless follow-through, and a collaborative partner temperament focused on constructive challenge and conflict resolution.

Job details
- Location: Remote (US)
- Salary: US Tier I (SF, NYC, LA, Seattle): $152,000 - $180,000; US Tier II (All Other): $136,000 - $160,000 (Base salary excludes bonus, equity, and benefits).
