About the opportunity
Curotec is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead software development projects, manage client relationships, and connect technology decisions to business outcomes under a hybrid work model.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping shape technology strategies, validate product assumptions, define priorities, and translate business needs into actionable development work.
The ideal candidate combines strong account management skills with a solid understanding of software development, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on project execution.
Working closely with developers and designers, you will act as the primary point of contact for clients and take complete ownership of overall project success.
Job details
- Location: Hybrid, Philadelphia region only. Must be able to commute to our Center City office up to 2 days per week.

Key responsibilities
- Own client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the engagement while building long-term partnerships and identifying opportunities for continued engagement.
- Support project scoping, estimates, proposals, and SOW development before engagements begin, then lead projects through delivery.
- Develop project strategies, scopes, budgets, timelines, delivery plans, and phased roadmaps based on value, effort, and risk.
- Balance technical feasibility, business value, client priorities, resource utilization, margins, and project constraints.
- Identify risks, potential roadblocks, misalignment, and early signs of scope creep to develop mitigation plans and resolve issues using independent judgment.
- Lead scope-change and change-order discussions with clients while protecting project timelines, budgets, and business objectives.
- Translate business needs into clear project requirements, priorities, and actionable development work for cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure alignment across clients, developers, designers, and other stakeholders.
- Track project financials, resource utilization, margin, and overall project health.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of Project Management experience, ideally within a software agency or consulting environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and complex software development projects.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and experience working closely with developers and designers.
- Experience participating in discussions around architecture trade-offs, scalability, technical feasibility, and risk.
- Experience helping scope projects and develop SOWs or similar project agreements.
- Experience managing scope changes and client expectations while protecting project timelines and budgets.
- In-depth experience with a project management system is required, such as ClickUp (preferred) or Jira.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
