NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Treasury Accountant, Automation and Operations, located in Santa Clara, to drive the transformation of accounting processes using artificial intelligence.

Key responsibilities
- Build and deliver automation across the Treasury Accounting close, including reconciliations, journal entry preparation, flux analysis, and disclosure support, utilizing large language model agents, Python, and SQL.
- Translate accounting requirements into working solutions alongside Treasury and IT by documenting business requirements, mapping data, building test plans, and providing cutover support and hypercare.
- Own month-end and quarter-end close tasks for Treasury Accounting, collaborating with third-party service providers to report on marketable investments, derivatives and hedge accounting, and debt issuances.
- Assist with Investment Company Act of 1940 analysis and continuous compliance monitoring by managing quantitative tests and documentation.
- Collaborate with Treasury in real time to provide accounting expertise on new investments, structures, and programs, ensuring proper accounting treatment and controls before launch.
- Strengthen SOX controls over Treasury Accounting processes and build newly automated workflows that are auditable, version-controlled, and evidence-ready from day one.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive accounting experience spanning public accounting and or a large multinational public company.
- Working command of US GAAP for Treasury activities including ASC 320, 321, 470, 815, and 830.
- Proven record of automating finance or accounting processes and implementing AI tools in a SOX-compliant environment.
- Proactive approach with strong program management skills and the ability to define and standardize global processes.
- Clear communication, cross-functional collaboration, and strong partner management experience.
- Comfort with ambiguity, a bias toward challenging the status quo, and a track record of delivering in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Active CPA or a Big 4 background in treasury, financial services, or technical accounting.
- Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or OpenAI Codex.
- Familiarity with SAP ECC and S/4HANA, Databricks, and third-party investment or hedge accounting platforms.
- Strong understanding of FX remeasurement, FX trading operations and settlement, and hedge accounting flows.
- Experience with Investment Company Act of 1940 analysis, commercial paper and debt programs, or service provider implementations.
Benefits
- Highly competitive base salary range of 116,000 USD to 195,500 USD, determined by location, experience, and peer pay.
