About the opportunity
Decoded is looking for a Freelance Session Coordinator to join the Product Operations Team as a remote, flexible worker.
In this role, you will host and deliver a smooth virtual workshop experience for Mindset learning programmes, helping multinational corporate learners advance their data and digital literacy.
You will ensure that every interaction learners have with Decoded in the virtual workshop setting is of exceptional quality.
Working alongside Associate Facilitators and Product Operation Managers, you will coordinate global virtual sessions primarily across UK, Central Europe, and HKT time zones.
Key responsibilities
- Review client briefing documents ahead of workshops and open virtual sessions on Zoom or Microsoft Teams 30 minutes prior to starting.
- Lead workshop set-up meetings, prepare facilitators using pre-workshop checklists, and resolve or escalate technical issues.
- Manage virtual waiting rooms, welcome learners, engage via virtual chat, and record attendance as instructed by the Product Operations Team.
- Support attendees and teachers with technical issues, timing, pacing, breakout rooms, and sharing required links and information.
- Gather learner feedback via online surveys, lead post-workshop debriefs, complete internal facilitation feedback, and escalate issues to Product Operations Managers.
Qualifications
- Experience working with virtual meeting platforms, specifically Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Confident in leading set-up meetings ahead of workshops with fellow associates.
- Highly organised with excellent time-keeping skills.
- Confident and professional communicator able to put people at ease.
- Confident problem-solver who can navigate problems calmly.
- Availability to accept work assignments scheduled between 08:00 and 21:00 within UK, Central Europe, or HKT time zones.
