About the opportunity
As a Solutions Director at Nearform, you will craft and position solutions that help enterprise clients unlock value. We are seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial leader who thrives at the intersection of business, technology, and AI innovation.
This is a permanent full-time remote opportunity for candidates based and authorized to work in the USA, with a primary focus on the Eastern time zone. At this time, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams to develop and grow client partnerships through AI innovation.
- Act as a subject matter expert on AI, software, cloud, and data technologies, identifying client challenges and defining tailored solutions.
- Lead discovery and pre-sales engagements, crafting proposals, RFP responses, and pitches that communicate our AI and technology capabilities.
- Develop proofs-of-concept and reference architectures to showcase how Nearform delivers results.
- Translate client objectives into actionable solution roadmaps, working closely with experts in software, data, AI, design, and engineering.
- Support early-stage project delivery to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to execution.
- Create case studies and success stories showcasing the transformative power of our AI solutions.
- Help shape and expand our AI practice by driving innovation, refining approaches, and sharing best practices.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering and technical leadership, ideally in consulting, pre-sales, or account development within technology or digital services.
- Hands-on experience with solution architecture, software architecture, cloud platforms, and AI native software engineering practices.
- Ability to conduct effective workshops, explore potential use cases, explain trade-offs, and align stakeholders on optimal solutions.
- Working proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of AI, data pipelines, and cloud ecosystems including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Demonstrated success engaging at the executive VP and C-level within enterprise clients.
- Experience leading pre-sales, discovery, and solution design discussions with a track record of shaping and landing deals.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate outcome-based business value.
