About the opportunity
NVIDIA is looking for a System Software Engineer for the UEFI Firmware team. You will be involved in early modeling, simulation, and the full development lifecycle of world-class products deployed in gaming consoles, servers, and AI devices worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Features/code development for UEFI firmware
- Document code flow, data flow, and architecture for UEFI Firmware
- Debug and root cause UEFI Firmware issues thru creative thinking
- Support simulation and FPGA environment bringup for UEFI Firmware
- Drive and resolve issues independently across teams and disciplines
- Plan and execute pre and post silicon verification of UEFI firmware
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with teams from all around the globe
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in low-level operating system functionality, specifically in areas of ARM technologies and programming
- Superb C programming and debugging skills
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Working experience in system software, operating system internals, kernel modules, and device drivers
Nice to have
- Experience with UEFI, ACPI, SMBIOS, Linux kernel
- Experience working with AI development tools

Job details
- Expected base salary ranges: 124,000 USD – 195,500 USD for Level 2; and 152,000 USD – 241,500 USD for Level 3
