About the opportunity
Capco is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a permanent position based in Dallas, Texas, with a hybrid work model within the Business Consulting practice area.
You will bridge business needs and technical solutions to deliver impactful data-driven transformation, playing a critical role in data management and transformation initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment across business, data, and technology teams.
Support Agile delivery by managing backlogs, tracking progress, and contributing to solution design and implementation.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business and technical requirements
- Translate requirements into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria for Agile delivery
- Support data-focused initiatives by working closely with data architects and analysts on solution design
- Track project progress, manage backlogs, and coordinate releases using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Contribute to testing, implementation, and issue resolution to ensure high-quality delivery
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in Agile environments
- Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience with SQL (Oracle, SQL Server) and data analysis
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and design artifacts
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Experience with MongoDB
- Experience working on data management or data lineage projects
- Familiarity with UAT planning, execution, and documentation
- Experience with process modeling, wireframes, or design documentation
- Experience identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies
