About the opportunity
- Intel is seeking a Process Integration and Yield Technician to work in an exciting electron microscopy lab supporting advanced technology development.
You will be responsible for making ultra-thin specimens and performing TEM analysis to support process and product development, qualification, and failure analysis.
- In this role, you will use dual beam FIB for TEM sample preparation and TEM for imaging and analysis. Work is completed according to general instructions and prioritization, requiring judgment to resolve non-standard problems while maintaining necessary records and reports.
Key responsibilities
- Perform technical functions in support of engineering activities such as fabrication, failure analysis, technology development, process development, and process integration.
- Conduct engineering tasks and detailed technical procedures to perform sample preparation or imaging using advanced focused-ion-beam and transmission electron microscope tools.
- Complete work according to general instructions and apply judgment to resolve nonstandard problems.
- Maintain necessary records and reports and perform other related duties as required.
- Continuously upgrade skillset, requiring an open attitude and the ability to learn from others.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a Technical Area such as Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics Technology, Material Science, or a comparable field.
- Minimum 1+ years of hands-on lab and/or manufacturing experience.
- Relevant Technical Certification.
- Minimum 1+ years of military-relevant experience.
